Request for Proposal

The Central Utah Public Health Department (UCHD) is seeking proposals for projects that address root causes and factors associated with the youth use of electronic cigarettes, marijuana, and other drugs. Help spread the word and share this grant opportunity with your community partners.nnGroups eligible for the grants include:n

    n

  1. Coalition of community organizations that is focused on substance abuse prevention
  2. n

  3. Local government agency, including a law enforcement agency, for a program that is focused on substance abuse prevention
  4. n

  5. Local education agency
  6. n

  7. Other organization focused or able to provide evidence-based program(s) that are focused on substance abuse prevention
  8. n

  9. Youth Groups
  10. n

nApproximate award amounts will be between $3,000 to $50,000 per application for government agencies, education agencies, etc. The amount for youth groups is $1,000 - $5,000. View full Request for Proposal(RFP)

Q & A session

nCUPHD will hold one informational call for potential grant applicants. This session will give applicants an opportunity to ask questions and receive any necessary guidance.nnThe date and information for the Q&A call is as follows:nSeptember 22, 2020: 12:00 – 1:00 PMnnThe meeting will be held using Zoom. Information on the zoom meeting can be found on the RFP. If you would like to attend the meeting please send an email to pgoodrich@utah.gov.nnGrant ApplicationnnApplications will be due no later than 11:59 PM September 30, 2020.
